This online library is being compiled by the Canadian Femicide Observatory for Justice and Accountability and is in its inception only.
We have divided the library into the following categories:
- International publications (e.g. United Nations)
- World region (e.g. Latin America, Europe)
- National (e.g. Canada, Australia)
- Provincial/territorial/state (e.g. Newfoundland & Labrador, Nunavut, Saskatchewan)
[This section will also include state-level reports from other countries.]
Within each of the above categories, as publications are generated, we will indicate the type of publication where possible (e.g. academic, government report, grey literature) and categorize according to topic (e.g. trends and patterns, prevention, criminal justice responses). Some publications may be located in more than one category, depending on its content.
Where possible and allowed, adhering to copyright guidelines, we provide a direct link to the article. Where this is not possible, we provide a link to the subscription website or the full reference.
It will be generated over the course of the coming year and updated regularly. Therefore, we ask visitors to check back regularly.
